Neutral Layers

This is my first NSW winter and I am definitely feeling the cold. Living in Queensland my whole life I have never really had to purchase proper winter clothes. I have picked up a few classic pieces over the last couple of years. However I was definitely in need of some new forever pieces. 

I have been searching for the perfect coat for a while now. All of the beautiful coats this season have been a little bit out of my price range. I found this one last week for half price on ASOS and it is just perfect. It keeps me nice and toasty but also brightens my dark winter wardrobe. 

 It was a bit grey and gloomy last week so I though I'd brighten up my outfit with a few neutral layers. I love pairing white and grey. After making it through most of winter in Sydney, I am starting to get the hang of layering.  

My Senso Ava slip ons are my go to day time shoes. My Ava's are also a nice change from ankle boots in Winter. They are also the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. I want a pair in every colour. My collection is continually growing.(Oh, you should see the new Summer colour ways... AMAZING!). Keep your eyes peeled for a new post on my SENSO Summer favourites.

Sister Sister

My beyond beautiful sister turns 20 today. God, I cannot believe she is no longer a teenager. It's been a year and a half since she was scouted in London town by Storm Models. In such a short time she's already done so many amazing things from Topshop, David Jones, Company Magazine, Cosmo, Shop Til you Drop, Addidas, Senso and many more. These are just a few of my favourite photos of her. 

She is so unbelievable humble and still has no idea how stunning she really is. I think that's what makes her even more beautiful! She was such a shy little girl and would do absolutely everything I did (use to annoy me so much). Now she is shinning so bright and it's just so amazing to see her finding herself. I would have to be one of her biggest fans. I swear I get more excited then she does sometimes. 

Modelling is such a tough industry she gets told you're too big, too short or just not right for whatever reason. She deals with this on a daily basis and she just keeps going. I know I definitely couldn't. 

She is destined for amazing things and I just cannot wait to see what she does next. Watch this space !

I love you more than anything baby and miss you every day. Counting down until we are roomies again.

Monochrome

So... I have found my new favourite label. I absolutely love everything about Sydney based Zulu and Zephyr. This two piece set was an must have for my Winter wardrobe. From their design to the fit the zebra print set is the best thing i've bought all season. I also want everything from their AW14 collection. Oh, did I mention it is super affordable. 

This faux leather jacket has also been a Winter staple of mine. I found it in Zara a few weeks ago and cannot stop wearing it. Zara have really mastered faux leather and at such a good price (around $120). 

Paired back with my Steve Madden sneakers and of course my Krystle Knight jewellery, my perfect Winter outfit.

Plaid

Flash back to warmer days. Plaid is definitely on trend this season. I have been searching for the perfect plaid shirt for a while now. I absolutely fell in love with this plaid shirt by Rails. I now want one in every colour.  I wear this button up all the time and with everything. From a mini skirt out at night to jeans and a jacket at work. 

Also loving my Senso Saxon boots which are my favourite from our AW14 collection.
